At 27 years old, I was playing the worst golf of my life.
I grew up around the game and have had a golf club in my hands since I was 8 years old. I played competitively through college and could stand toe-to-toe on the course with just about anyone.
In 2016, I had just finished business school and moved to San Francisco chasing a dream in Silicon Valley. I rarely played and, when I did, my swing felt like an unfolding lawn chair. The consistency, my feel around the greens, everything was a mess - I just didn't enjoy golf the way I remembered.
It took me more than 5 years to get my game back. It was a slow, frustrating path to go from shooting in the 90s to getting back into the 70s consistently.
My goal is to share what I learned on my journey, so that yours can be much shorter and much more enjoyable.
